My son who is under 2 was fobbed off by reception staff, multiple doctors and nurses. He had a chest infection for 8 WEEKS. He ended up in A and E and then in an ambulance with breathing issues. His condition dismissed over and over again. 9 weeks later and 1 week after a chest XRay which I had to push for, I get a TEXT message on a friday evening advising they can see some signs of infection still in his chest. The infection they dismissed as viral for 8 weeks! The practice is now closed and I cannot speak to someone until monday to find out if he actually now needs to take the antibiotics they've decided to prescribe last thing on a friday to a pharmacy that is closed. To say I'm dismayed with this utter child neglect is an understatement |
