I have been trying to book a face to face appointment with GP for 2 weeks. I call at 8 am but by the time my call is answered - between 8.30 and 8.40 all the appointments have gone. To use the on line form I have had to complete this at 730am as in all other days I have been too late to even do that. The receptionist has not been rude but, it is like taking to a computer programmed to say no. I’m sure if I get contact with GP the service will be fine but how long do I have to wait. After consulting a private GP, I have ended up twice in A&E over past 2 weeks - if I had seen GP I think I could have avoided at least one of these A&E visits. I worry for people who have health concerns that need urgent review and treatment now not delayed by this dreadful lack of appointments and administrative indifference. |

Called yesterday after having chest infection. Although I was scared to call because of my past experiences with them as they delay the medical procedure where ended up in St. Peter’s emergency. Right now I am sitting is Ashford walk clinic 7.3 miles away as GP asked me to check by Livi and Livi asked that I need to be checked in person asap by GP. Called GP to book the receptionist told me she is in charge of appointment and she doesn’t have any appointments for me . My problem is that this is happening every single time at red Peactice. If you are between age 25-45 they don’t care . I am asthmatic and my chest infection has changed to pneumonia in the past very quickly but they refused to check . Dr kalam desilva should really take into consideration that how many GPS they need to accommodate their patients . Just training your staff to be rude is not an answer |

It’s seems it’s simply impossible to connect to a GP. I tried to email at 0750 today but appointments are full. I called at 0800 and was third in the queue which I thought was encouraging - 22 minutes lates I’m still in the queue. What options does one have to try to get some reasonable care. It’s appalling. The only only option is sense is to find a better organised provider or even got to a private GP. |
