Have lived in the area for 18 years and throughout that time this surgery has always been less than satisfactory. Phones are rarely answered. Appointments are non-existent… always told ‘ring from 8am in the morning’ bearing in mind the phones are not in operation until 8.30 and if you get through at 8.30 all the appointments have miraculously gone? Urgent prescriptions are never signed. Repeat prescriptions are declined with no reason given by the GP? You only know when you go to collect it from the chemist to find it’s not there and told it was declined with no reason given. This includes inhalers! Blood pressure being done over the phone?! Doctors saying they’ll call… they don’t! Apparently ‘too busy’. Too many people are left to suffer needlessly at the hands of uncaring, untrained, rude reception staff who have no idea how many lives they put at risk daily by deciding your symptoms do not warrant an appointment while using their tick box mentality when dealing with patients. This surgery is in need of a thorough inspection to ensure all patients get the same quality of care that the few five star ratings on here as these give a false sense of reality. This surgery is far from five star. |

I would highly recommend this Doctors surgery to anyone in Bordon/Whitehill Area, All the doctors bar one have been extremely helpful and caring as well as the reception team. a few years ago I had an issue with one doctor but it was quickly resolved and would happily see that doctor again. I have never been able to access the online booking system but I find it more convenient to call up. Every receptionist I've encountered at this surgery has been lovely and friendly. I know everyone has there off days but I've never had an issue here, I have also found that every nurse I've seen has been equally as kind and caring and go out of there way to make you feel comfortable. As with any doctors surgery the phone line could be improved, but once you get through there aren't any issues what so ever. |
