My husband was feeling unwell and I phoned surgery for advice. Within the hour we were phoned back by the nurse, who arranged had an ECG , he then saw a doctor who after consulting with the hospital prescribed new medication for us to pick up from the chemist. Excellent service. Our Duty system - staffed by a GP and two or three nurse prescribers/practitioners - is designed to ensure that anyone who has an urgent problem which needs to be seen promptly can be accommodated. I would, and do... recommend this surgery to everyone. The drs are really caring and go above and beyond to ensure our health is the best it can possibly be. The nurses are great too. Everyone including the lovely cleaner are really friendly.
The Drs always explain their treatment recommendations and ask if I, as the patient, am happy with it. They listen if I’m not.

I am a very new patient at the practice. Had my first appointment at the surgery today with the GP and I must say, I am very impressed. She was very patient, listened to all my concerns and offered advice in a professional manner. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Receptionists who I have come across have been very polite and friendly. The lady at the front desk this morning who was training a new member of staff was super friendly and very approachable. It really makes a difference to see a smiling face when walking in to a GP surgery! Kudos to your team!
