Having moved from another part of the country where I struggled to get appointments that fitted around my working day, I have found the reception staff here to be so helpful and appointments available early morning, early evening and on Saturday mornings. The nurses and doctors I have come into contact with have been professional and discussed any treatment with me in an informative way. If you genuinely need medical advice the same day, you get a call back. There is a pharmacy on site so everything gets sorted in one visit.
Delighted that I have moved into the area you serve. Thank you. |

The title says it all really. I can't thank the team there for their consistent support, their friendly approach in what can be a very combative environment (usually patients who want everything yesterday and feel they have an absolute right to be rude to practice staff), and their understanding. For me personally, life is complex and the future is uncertain at the moment, so to know that they are there to help really does take a massive worry away. I am trying to call from a hospital about one of their patients. I have used various routes and options on their automated phone line to try to get through to anyone and I have been on hold for nearly an hour. Unacceptable. I feel very sorry for their patients. Reply from Whiteparish Surgery Fri, 15 Dec 2017 11:11:54 Z I am really very sorry that you were not able to get through. We have a bypass number which is given to hospitals and other care providers, so that this problem does not arise. The bypass number means that you do not have to go through the main switchboard. We also have an email and fax number advertised on the website, that can be used by all members of the public and care colleagues. Without other details about this specific instance, it is very difficult to explain further. If the person concerned could ring and speak to me about this case, I would be very interested to hear whether this by-pass number was used and when the incident occurred, as it is obviously unacceptable to keep people waiting this length of time.
