I saw Dr Turek regarding a lesion on my face and it was agreed she would send an urgent referral to dermatology under the two week protocol in case the growth is cancerous. This was on Monday 17th April 2023 and I have heard nothing since from anyone regarding an appointment. Today I made a journey to the A&E Dept at RUH to see if they could action a referral. The practitioner I saw agreed an urgent referral was needed but was informed this has to come via the GP. I have tried several times to contact he surgery by phone (but mostly it is impossible to get through) and e-mail but with no sucess in getting any action. I am at a loss as to what to do. This is the NHS at its worst. I doubt whether this review will appear on the website as you only publish glowing reviews. | ||||||

I have had several appointments with the same doctor over the last few months and the treatment and advice i have received from him has been brilliant.He has had a lot to deal with but has always listened to me and i never seemed hurried.Although very professional he always made me and my wife feel at ease and always explained everything fully to us both..
I only wish it was possible to always be able to get appointments with him.Once again thank you | ||||||

On 11th Sep, my 9 yr old daughter had an appointment to see the Eczema nurse. We were very late because of the very bad traffic in Chippenham (fire in Prezzo). I did try to call the surgery but couldn’t get through. We finally arrived very late. The receptionist was very understanding and tried to contact the nurse but as we were the last appointment assumed she may had already left, but the lovely receptionist continued to keep trying and eventually managed to get hold of the nurse. The nurse has understandably already switched off her computer but still came down to see us, She was really wanting to help so found us a quiet room and made us feel very welcome and gave us a lot of time,. I was actually overwhelmed with the kindness of the staff and the genuine desire to want to help even though we were very very late. This kind of service is so rare and I want to say a huge thank you! You have a lovely team. | ||||||
