I tried for several days to get an apointment. They are always gone when I get to the start of the line. Where have all the doctors gone. Where have all the receptionists gone. But no matter coz I am going to change surgeries. This one is really bad. The surgery manager is always on a call and never comes to talk to me. Overall a thoroughly useless surgery. |

This is follow on from being refused appointment by rude receptionist, I received my telephone appointment with doctor all be it 1 hour late!
Explained to doctor what happened I.e surgery and then not being allocated an appointment as I was told I didn't need one, I also explained that it had now been over a week since surgery and I hadn't got anywhere with getting my medical equipment I required, if the hospital hadn't sorted me with some to tide over I would have been in a lot of trouble.
The doctor then requested I have an appointment the next day to sort out.
At my appointment I explained my history to make the doctor aware of my condition as she was not fully aware , she agreed to give my repeat prescription, I had requested the first prescription to be on an individual without my usual repeats as I needed to send to wellbeing who would then manage my prescriptions for this equipment. She agreed I had to bring an old repeat prescription which had these on until someone in the surgery decided to take them off.
When the doctor checked she said they had been discontinued, I stated they haven't they have just changed the code, she asked if I could supply it then she would arrange request.
So went home and got them, went back and explained to receptionist and left New codes for doctor.
My mother in law went to collect my prescription as agreed with doctor , only to discover it had been sent to the chemist on a prescription with my other repeats!!!!!
I am at my wits end with the whole matter it is nearly 2 weeks since my surgery and with approx. 7 visits or calls to surgery by myself my wife or mother in law I have not once received an adequate service ,response or someone there that listens or does what is asked, totally poor service, all started by being refused an appointment, this could of been done 2weeks ago with 1 appointment. I have gone from having superb service in a NHS Hospital to a very poor service in NHS Doctors surgery. |
