I am in my mid seventies and have been blessed with good health thereby necessitating relatively few medical intervention to date. However, recently I have had occasion to visit this surgery on two occasions and the courtesy and professionalism by everyone with whom I had contact, from the receptionist to the doctors, has been excellent. The follow up communication by text and email has been very efficient. The thoroughness with which the complaint with which the complaint was investigated has been very reassuring. I have therefore no hesitation in giving 5 stars. | ||||||

Having moved to this area a few years ago I had unfortunately still not registered with a GP Practice.I had heard glowing reports of this practice from friends and family so when I unexpectedly fell ill I called Water Meadow Surgery to ask if I could see a Doctor that day , the Receptionist was lovely and Registered me there and then on the phone and I was given an appointment that morning,I arrived gave in some paperwork- I was seen by a lovely Doctor who gave me advice on my condition,I didn’t have to wait long at all even though that was never a priority for me , getting to see a GP that day was already a bonus. I was extremely grateful for the help and care I received from not only the GP but the lovely Receptionist who answered the phone who gave me their name and to ask me to ask for them when I arrived-which I did , they remembered me which was great considering the amount of patients Receptionists deal with every day.This gave a personal touch to my visit. By the time I had got home my online account information was already emailed to me.
They advised I could book a 20 minute new patient appointment with my new registered GP online which I was also hugely impressed with.
I have never left reviews before for anything but felt that I just needed to show my appreciation regarding this Surgery.
First impressions matter I feel and this surgery from what I have already experienced is pretty outstanding. From a very grateful new patient who is gradually on the mend! | ||||||

I have been with this surgery for over 50 years (before it was renamed Watermeadow). I have always been extremely happy in my dealings with everyone involved with this practice.
All staff are friendly and compassionate in dealing with requests whether it is an appointment, telephone call or home visit.
In particular when a home visit has been required for a family member the quick response by the GP’s has been very reassuring. | ||||||
