Since 9 months ago ,since i gave birth, they try to find out what is wrong with me and they are unable to assist me properly. In all these months i had to wait almost 3months for a scan, and they also did urine and bloods test once, but after the results came in they didn't even bother calling me for follow up. If i don't call i can die at home ,no one will know. Also i called today (again) ,after 1h hold, they told me that they cannot book an appointment with the gp because he is not in and i need to call tomorrow. How do i know their lines will work tomorrow since their phone was disconnecting and unavailable for the last 3 days. The system is faulty big time ,not only at the clinic ,but also at the emergency room where i went with different issues in the past and they told me to go to the hospital gp ,after waiting for him for hours ,he googled the diagnostic...really? I could have googled it myself if i wanted to. Called 999 and they told me that if i am not dying is not an emergency. 111 told me to call my gp ( cause he has helped so much isn't that right??! )I have kids to raise and i am doing it in huge pain because of this bad system. If i die at home is nhs fault just so you all know. |

Hello,
Me and my wife have been registered with Mounts Medical centre for 3 years. We have always been able to book an appointment with them for the same day if we called them at 8:00 AM or just show up at the reception. My wife got the best prescription treatment that she could have for her condition. Also she has been referred to the specialist at the right time. We left the surgery only because we moved to another city. There are ups and downs everywhere but overall you get the right treatment at the right time. The doctors and the staff are very polite and respectful!
Thank you very much for your help! |

It can be difficult getting an appointment over the phone but this is the case at most NHS medical centre's these days. If you visit the surgery in person at 8am you can usually been seen the same day (and its clear from these visits the receptionists are constantly answering phone calls)
I have seen many different GP's at the surgery and the vast majority have been very helpful. I've had 2 poor experiences but wont let this colour my opinion of the rest of the staff who have been excellent.
Overall this surgery is doing its best with a massive patient load and the quality of advice and care I have received over the last 6 months has been great. |
