My Wife left a prescription request in the green box by the front door on the afternoon of Tues 9th July. I went to the pharmacy next door on Fri 12th July at 1pm to collect my Wife's pills. The prescription had not arrived. I went to the surgery to ask when it would be sent and was told they're waiting for a doctor to sign it off. I went back to the pharmacy at 3pm, they said it had just arrived so I waited ten minutes while they made it up. Problem was this wasn't the prescription we needed but a repeat prescription that wasn't due til Mon 15th July. I went back into the pharmacy to see if the other prescription had been sent over, it hadn't. Back to the surgery to be told they will issue an emergency prescription and come back at 5:30! I went to the pharmacy at 5:35, still no prescription. Back into the surgery to be told that they hadn't received the request til Wed 10th, that they had been shut on Wednesday afternoon so couldn't process it and then the reception staff start lecturing me about their zero tolerance policy because my patience was by now worn and my frustration had become apparent! My Wife needed these pills as she didn't have enough to last the weekend which is why she put the request in in plenty of time and the pharmacy was only open for another 15 minutes. I had wasted a lot of my time and had to rearrange customer appointments which I now have to attend today which was supposed to be my day off. I was told they would issue a paper prescription which I could take to an out of hours pharmacy. I was left walking round the car park waiting when at 5:54 the lady in the pharmacy came out and told me the prescription had been sent over. Finally! I have to say this is not the first time I have had to chase the reception staff regarding unsent prescriptions but I am always faced with an unhelpful attitude and left feeling as if their poor service is somehow my fault. My Wife and I (and other family members) have been with Greenview for many years and the doctors and practice nurses are great and we really don't want to move to another surgery but dealing with the reception staff is often difficult. |

The doctors and nurses are absolutely wonderful. They cannot do enough for you. With over 9000 patients on their books it’s sometimes difficult to get through first thing in the morning, but the receptionists always to whatever they can to get you in touch with someone that day, whether it be an appointment with a prescribing nurse or a telephone consultation. They’ll always do their best to help you. |

Terrible to get an appointment the receptionist are very rude I feel like a burden I suffer with bad anxiety and they make me feel worse I have sat there and called the surgery on my mobile and just watched the staff continue to talk without answering the phone other than that my dr as well as others have been brilliant.
