Mendip Vale Medical Practice (Sunnyside)

One thing after another. Bad enough trying to get an appointment, but really have messed me about with prescriptions - actually ended up missing 5 days of two medicines due to it... because a review was due that they did without even contacting me anyway! After Physio appointment today was told I need to see the doctor next week - but the next available appointment is 17th December - almost 8 weeks away!! The receptionists response was just that I'd have to phone in at 8am in the morning for an on the day appointment... this is great but with a child and the school run there are never any appointments remaining for on the day.. unless you press and get an emergency telephone appointment which from experience they are very reluctant to give. Will be leaving, but will it be better elsewhere? Demoralised by the GP practice - though the doctors have been very good once you get the appointment.

Appalling. Failed to respond in February and then blamed the carer for my 94 year old mother now 95. After a fall last week refused to come out and treat her wound until we complained repeatedly and finally treated at 11.30pm. Disgusting behaviour from incompetent uncaring NHS.
