very difficult to get an appointment via the phone as you have to call at 8 am and after doing so many times have still not been able to get appointments for that day. on accessions staff have come across rude and made to feel like you are a burden to the system. |

I have been a patient of this surgery for more than ten years. It used to be a really nice, friendly surgery - the reception staff used to greet me by name before I had even spoken.
This surgery has been steadily going downhill for the last few years. The reception staff are rude and inefficient. It's a nightmare to even speak to them on the phone - less than 50% of my attempts to phone them are successive (and the reason I came here today). They hang-up/cut me off before answering!
They never, ever give me an appointment. They have stopped my medication several times without warning. When I ask why I don't have my prescription, I am told I need a pill review. They give no warning of this (my chemist does not give paper prescriptions like they used to, with the review date written on it). I am told I need to make an appointment before they can issue my prescription. I say "OK" can I have an appointment, and they say there is none! I am on medication that I am not supposed to suddenly stop taking. I have told the doctor that the prescription clerk has put my life at risk, because they have. |
