I was sent two letters for a Covid vaccine. Then waited a long time for my appointment in the waiting room. I then saw a nurse who told me I wasn’t eligible as my 65 birthday was before September 1st. Why was I not told I wasn’t to save my time going in ? Also why was I sent two letters from the surgery asking me to make the appointment in the first point? Also I find it difficult making appointments as there were 15 people in the phone queue last time I phoned and it wasn’t even on a Monday morning! |

Nearly 3 years ago I moved here. Gp told me I would not be given an appointment to see a docter as I would be moving on within 3 months, as this is what I did. Still here in our own house , just once I needed to see a gp , was sent to medical students, they could not help.phone appointment I was told I had 2 minutes as she had other patients to talk to. Still never been seen . |

The practice make use off online appointments system which is actually not working, says it's reached capacity or just broken. Telephoning takes a long time and from a mobile it's often too inconvenient to be told everytime that there are 10 in the queue, no matter what time of calling. Are the phones actually working, we don't know because no one answers. The practice also send text messages with links in but the links don't work if your not on a smart phone and there's no way to text back a reply. Friend has written letters to say she has no smart phone, they still send her txts with links to webpages to fill out forms. They do not write letters back with anything useful in, just saying they have tried phoning but can't get through. This often proves to be a lie as my friend has never had a missed call from the surgery. So basically phoning for appointments has a 90% to 100% failure rate. Writing to them has an almost zero response that helps. Just generates yet more useless texts. About time they sorted the phones, fixed the website and started listening to patients who have no internet and no smart phones. |
