Doctors show little attention to detail. Treated with disinterest despite feeling distressed and unwell. My requests were dismissed and no effort was made to understand or clear up confusions. Senior doctor was not able to hear out a patient who was distressed. Unacceptable. | ||||||

I have long standing health issues. After visiting I found one doctor who I'd like to keep seeing, but she is rarely available to see on short notice.
I have been forced on three occassions to see other doctors, one of whom's manner is highly unsatisfactory. No eye contact, not listening to concerns, even dismissing my questions. Even arguing with me...who does not seem to want to, or know how to solve the health issues, for which I am at the doctors in the first place. The difficulty for me is that if I want to keep seeing my preferred doctor, if my preferred is not on duty I have to risk another encounter with the one that shows poor communication skills. This is a distressing prospect to have to deal with when I am already in poor health. | ||||||

I am new to Rowcroft and had my 1st appointment today with a healthcare nurse.
My experience was only a of a good one.
I went in feeling rather nervous and anxious and emotional as I had been in pain with this wound.
As soon as I entered the surgery the reception staff were so welcoming.
The nurse from the start was warm and caring and reassured me throughout the appointment which totally put me at ease and I really felt that I was in safe hands-and so gentle when doing my dressing talking me through it all the way.
Even the Doctor took the time to see me and a quick prescription was issued.
I am really impressed and thankful to the care and consideration this practice gives.
