always helpful and reassuring, the care we have received from all staff has been second to non. We moved surgery when our previous family doctor left to work at a surgery in Shrewsbury and we were very concerned but we needn't have been. We love our new family doctor, always kind and patient, but if we need to see someone else we have complete confidence we will be looked after well. There are some great clinics, the help to slim clinic is just one example and having a pharmacy on site is very useful. This is a popular and busy surgery and considering the terrible strain the NHS is facing due to decades of underfunding what these people achieve is nothing short of amazing. Thankyou. |

The doctors and staff at Caxton Surgery are superb. I strongly recommend everyone for their wonderful care and devotion to their patients. I have been a patient at Caxton Surgery for 11-years and recently lost my husband when he passed on and I received sympathy and great kindness. I have also received specialist treatment for a painful aggressive cancerous tumour. I visited several hospital consultants as I sought treatment, not one of them could help me. However, at Caxton Surgery I began an experimental treatment, which was closely monitored as we searched for a way to stop the tumour from growing and finally, we found a treatment derived from two different countries that prevented further growth and reduced the terrible pain which I had suffered. Without the help of a certain doctor who shall remain unnamed to save him from embarrassment, I should now be dead. A practice where the patient can expect friendly and professional assistance. |

I have been seeing the doctor for ten months for the treatment of anxiety and depression. I must say the doctor deserves a big pat on the back for all they have done for me. Ten months ago I was depressed anxious and didn't want to leave the house and drank far to much alcohol and was in a general bad state. The doctor has been a great listener all through the progress of my recovery and the doctor does what they say and takes a proactive approach and gets the ball in motion. Now ten months down the line I have been the best I have in years thanks to them, enjoying life and I now have the best most enjoyable job I have ever had thanks to their advice. Also the Caxton surgery have been great at making timely appointments so well done to the staff on reception. Great stuff all round and a big thank you to the doctor a credit to the much critised NHS. |
