Absolutely the worst , they contacted me via email and several texts and l missed two calls about a annual blood pressure review and blood test l rang them 3 times which was never answered even after 45 minutes each call on the fourth they finally answered them l was cut off and couldn't get through once again . Great for the blood pressure. |

I get the NHS is a monopoly service provider, but that is no excuse for ignoring patient calls for an hr!!!! and we are talking basics like employing sufficient staff to answer the phone and making appointments, which i have complained about before and so have copious other people, your practice needing someone to answer the phone and make appointments is a basic requirement of your service provision. The Drs and nurses are friendly, professional and capable when people finally get to make an appointment and see one, so the practice in that regard is clearly well supported by decent medical professionals with plenty about them, but having no one answering the phone makes your medical practice a living nightmare just to get through and make a basic appointment. As for the one poor woman who eventually does answer the phone it is abundantly clear she is being over burdened and needs additional support re phone answering. And it doesnt help her or your practice or the situation when people do finally get through, due to hacking everyone off, the queue will just be made longer and longer by people having to complain to her re it!!! It is all very counterproductive all round. Just hire someone to answer the phone! 2 years now people have been saying this |
