Just wanted to compliment the surgery for the way you have treated my ten year old son. Having returned recently from a holiday in Tunisia, we returned with an ill son who had been in intense pain with his ear for a few days. As it was the weekend we had no choice but to use the walk in centre who assessed him and diagnosed him with an ear infection. After a few days he was worse and thinking I wouldn’t get a GP appointment I was reluctant to call the surgery but I was offered an appointment that afternoon with the doctor . Not only did she diagnose two further infections she also asked me to bring him back in two days for her to see him again. At the next appointment she gave him some different medication and now thankfully he’s much better and on the mend. Thank you for fitting us in, for not dismissing us and getting my son better. |

Seen today by a doctor for a knee joint injection, he was friendly, courteous and professional. Had difficulty making the appointment and had to ring several times before getting through (joint injection appointments are not available to book online ) although when the phone was answered I was dealt with by a great receptionist. The patient information screen in the waiting room would benefit from being more regularly updated along with the website (last PPG minutes are from July 2018 and Bank Holiday closing times are from May 2019 ) Think the introduction of handing out cards to invite patients to give feedback is a positive step. |

Excellent treatment and follow investigation/ diagnosis.
Particularly the lead nurse for me arranged a full series of injections with herself and the other nurses.
Also she picked up on the circumstances prior to my referral and initiated additional checks and further referrals to one of the GP’s.
All in all I felt that the Practice were proactive and professional........ many thanks! |
