Can never get an appointment told to ring 111or 999 or go to A&E if you happen to be unlucky and have to see a particular member of staff he his rude and arrogant. If you can not get a answer to your problems all you get is you will have to go up the hospital.one receptionist is very off hand and condensending you can stand there waiting and she will completely ignore you. I hate going you feel as though you are wasting their time I once asked for a nurse to call to see my sick uncle of 90yrs she never came and he was dead the next day I went down to see the doctor who was very nice and understanding so I took it no further I regret to this day I didn’t. The reason I was given was the nurse who deals with the elderly was on holiday. This was 2 years ago I had spoke to the practice manager about my travel vaccine apolitical being cancelled four times and it was her who said she would get the nurse to my uncle. I blame myself every day for not pushing it more. He was 90 with heart and kidney failure but he never got a visit from a health worker. I need an appointment tomorrow I have been ill for 4 days but I do not suppose I shall get one I think this has prompted me to write this. .

I have visited the surgery recently for routine tests for repeat prescription review and asked the nurse about a lump I had noticed a couple of days earlier, and she advised me to see the doctor, as it looked like a hernia. I was able to make an appointment for later the same day, and the Dr examined me thoroughly and confirmed it was a hernia, and explained that it would require an operation to implant a mesh, and gave me a referral immediately. Excellent service. |
