Repeat perscription medication had expired and was given a day (2 weeks into the future) to have a telephone appointment to review. Not great having to wait two weeks but the 'day' with no time slot (I asked for a time) was even more inconvenient. Unable to clear a whole days diary (I work M-F) I unfortunately missed the call. Is it not possible to agree to appointments in a 2hr slot? Re-booked, a three week wait to next appointment. Over a month to get meds... |

ON the whole this surgery is one of the best I have attended.
Get an appointment on the phone with the right doctor on the right day can sometimes be a problem. You have to redial many time before getting through. |

Over the years I have seen every one of the GP's at the surgery, and 2 of the practice nurses. This is mainly because of health screening that the surgery not only offers, but notifies its patients about, and annual reviews at the request of my named GP because of my medical history I have always been treated with professionalism and respect by all of the team, who are also warm and friendly, and this includes the reception staff. On every visit I have had to make to the surgery I have found the care to be very thorough, as are the explanations provided regarding diagnosis, investigations and the treatment options available. I have left feeling that I have been able to discuss any concerns, raise any queries and make appropriate decisions regarding my care. I would recommend the practice to my family and friends without hesitation. |
