My feelings are very mixed In regards to Park Medical, always a nightmare trying to get an appointment from 8 AM is a little bit like playing the lotto with the odds of you getting an appointment very slim to none! 98 times I tried this morning never enough staff on to handle the calls and by 8.30 all appointments have normally gone. Many times this has happened with the detriment to my health.
Another concern is some of the GPs seem quite disrespectful and judgemental I found personally as somebody you may say is from a minority in terms of background leaving myself feeling very shocked, let down and frustrated. Though I say that with a heavy heart because of some are good. If you have a choice I would honestly say choose somewhere else. |

Trying to book an apointment in this place will probably make you more ill. The line is set up in such a way that no one can call in for the first hour or so. Staff is aloof, inefficient, incompetent. Really obnoxious. How this place still exists I don't know. |

Trying to get an appointment at this surgery is a completely horrendous experience. I had to ring 56 times before my call was answered, the advance appointments are always fully booked. Perhaps if there wasn’t such a great emphasis on telephone consults there would be more appointments available?
Some of the reception staff are extremely short and unwelcoming. They make you feel like an inconvenience and not comfortable to explain the nature of your appointment. I have also observed such behaviour towards other patients. I would dread to think how this may make vulnerable patients feel. |
