After moving here from the Midlands, I have found the surgery good and the gp's I've seen and spoken to very helpful and efficient in referring me to other specialists. In fact I've been amazed how quick I've had my problems dealt with by the whole surgery and the Vic hospital I've been referred to. Much more efficient and pleasant experience than Stafford where getting an appointment is like winning the lottery. Getting hospital follow ups very slow. |

The new booking system is abysmal! You give your symptoms to an unqualified receptionist, she puts you on a list for a doctor to prioritise. You're then told you will get a call back within 3 working days! You have to be available all day and into the night to receive your call. It could come at anytime and anywhere. I really don't want to be discussing medical issues in the queue at the supermarket! They have taken patient care out of the system it seems And if you miss the call because you are in the toilet, at a meeting, in the shower? The system does nothing to reassure patients. |
