Presented at reception with my friend who lived in the street next door to the survey, he couldn't catch his breath on a few occasions and is asthmatic. A member of staff acknowledged our arrival after their gossiping to two other members of staff behind the desk. hey said I shud of dialled 999 and and not come here. I explained how close we were to surgery I was in a panic and. Very worried . Just needed advise and help. One person in waiting room at this time. Told to take a seat. Despite 3 members of staff on the desk no one offered to help get him seated or offered water. TBC, don't go near this place . Long story short.. didn't wanna be bothered to treat him ( registered ) 3 years ago. Receptionist was horrible sneered and sneaked in to see a doctor. Eventually got in the room and was verbally abused by the doctor for the interruption. If they had said can't help I'd have left and called an ambulance .This doctor raised their voice with door ajar n spoke like I was 5 years old. All the while making sure they had an audience of staff. Hope you feel good about yourself. Unbelievable attitude. If it was busy that might be a defence but place had a few people in. Official complaint to follow. Shame on you all. | ||||||

Fortunately I don't need the doctor very often but when you do it's impossible to get an appointment. A telephone consultation was offered but I know a visible examination is necessary. Planned appointments weren't available until October! Phoning in each day at 8.15am stretches my employer's patience and inevitably I get side-tracked by something at work so miss the slot - ringing at anything past 8.20 and you're unlikely to get an appointment. But I will continue to play this game until something gives - either me back at A&E or I win the "lottery" of appointment success. | ||||||

Fortunately I don't have to visit the Doctors very often, but when I do it's really difficult to get an appointment. You have to 'phone up over and over and over again at 8:15 - because they don't have a queuing system (why not?). After 10-15 minutes of dialling over and over again (my 'phone at work doesn't have re-dial option), there are then no appointments left - so you have to try the next day (when you can't get time off work). There don't seem to be enough Doctors at this surgery and haven't been for some time. If you can register somewhere else - I would advise you to do so. I feel sorry for the reception staff because it's not their fault. | ||||||
