Lynemouth Surgery

Completed registration forms told it would take 28 days to register and we couldn’t use the surgery or see a Doctor until then. needed a blood test two weeks later so I could have a medication infusion at hospital call into reception told my registration would be completed and someone would call me to arrange blood test the same day this did not happen.

After leaving a poor review of this surgery the doctors responded by say contact us directly. I tried to call and speak to the doctor. I also thought I won't give the receptionist any details, I was asked if it was an emergency - No I just wish to speak to a doctor that was weeks ago still no follow up. It's time to find a better doctor it's a waste of time even phoning I have just been using the walk in clinic at Ashington if its important

Very difficult to get an appointment or see a doctor here. Almost always sent to one of the other clinics. It seems run by the receptionist who gives advice even on medication often telling you to go to the local pharmacy or walk in clinic, not to disturb the doctor. Fails to pass messages on sometimes. And the final straw I have diabetes and was told by the receptionist not to come to any more appointments as it was a waste of time for me and the doctor. I wrote a letter to the doctor about this months ago and have had no response or further appointments so I can only sumise the letter was opened by the receptionist and not passed on.
