Trying to get an appointment is absolutely disgusting I called 188 times and still could not get an appointment worse surgery I have ever used. |

It is nigh on impossible to get an appointment if you happen to be a working taxpayer. Staff say the doctors do not allow them to book ahead and if you can't sit for as long as it takes from 8.30am to try and get through you will NOT be treated.
If you pass the telephone lottery you almost certainly see someone you have never seen before and who knows nothing about you. I cannot believe they are still accepting patients- they are clearly struggling to service their current patient base.
I once asked why I used to have regular blood tests etc to monitor my condition which they described as "higher risk" But I've had none over the last couple of years: all I am is older and on the same drugs. The (inevitably) very young doctor had no answer.
The doctors do their best as clinicians (thought they do seem to use Google a lot!?) but the practice is not set up for the benefit of patients's needs and circumstances. |

Impossible to get an appointment unless you are lucky enough to manage getting through the one line at 8.30 in the morning when everyone is calling. Receptionists are often snotty and once I even complained to the practice manger as I'd been calling repeatedly for half an hour from opening but constantly engaged to be told that "all appointments are gone you should have called when we first opened". Yet when I spoke to the manger she ignored the complaint but magically an appointment had opened up while I'd been on the phone.... |
