I'm really sorry to leave a negative review of a GPS surgery because in my experience they generally do a brilliant job. I am a visitor to the area.
I lacerated my index finger which required treatment first of all I attended the pharmacy who directed me to the doctors surgery. The doctors receptionist was going to book me in to see a practice nurse in the associated Skipton practice but once she worked out I wasn't registered with the practice, despite me telling her I was a visitor to the area, I was told that I would have to attend the A&E at Airedale Hospital. All I needed was 3 steri strips and a dressing yet I had to take up valuable time at A&E. I just consider this as really short sighted and once again doctors receptionists pretending to medical qualified and as a consequence costing our stretched NHS unnecessary expenditure. | ||||||
