This practice does not care about the needs of their patients. They do not like to be questioned or challenged by patients. Some of my extended family go to the Jabbar practice in the same centre, who seem to get much better care and they are in their seventies. |

I feel the service of the reception is very good. Practice Manager is also very good. About the doctors I say they are average. They need to be proactive in providing all options on medicines and tests. There is a general tendency to listen and prescribe. The lady doctor was not very reassuring as I have attended her with my wife and she told my wife about her pain she has been suffering for long, doctor said, "what can I do for your long term pain?" This is not a good way to tell a patient who is suffering from multiple pain disturbing her life and sleep. I think doctors generally need to prove they care and not just do the minimum to end the surgery session. They need to earn the confidence and respect of the patients by a clear display of concern and care which is not there at present. The reception is far better. That is why I have to give 3 out of 5 scoring. This is not a recent event but it has been happening since we registered with the Robbins Surgery. But all of them need to show more care, concern and commitment to the noble job they hold. |

Worst service ever. I have been given non urgent referral to see specialist as I had cancer symptoms. After waiting for 3 months and chasing appointments, unable to even get a date I tried calling my GP back(to request private referral- my symptoms were worsening). No one would answer the phone for 3 days in a row, it cuts you off every 30 minutes. I then went to GP, sat in front of reception and called them again. No one was waiting at there window, the two receptionists were chatting and having banter. I was on hold 30 minutes, got cut off, called again 10 minutes later approached the reception window asking why there prone are silenced and why no one is actually bothered to answer phone calls. They rudely answered that they are busy and there is more to there jobs that meets the eye. I then explained how poorly I was and asked for private referral and was told to leave it with them and the doctor would call me the following day when the paperwork is ready. ... This was three weeks ago, I haven't heard from theme yet... I am taking my family out of this awful, incompetent and careless GP. |
