This practice is wonderful in every respect. Above and beyond in every respect. Every single member of staff fills you with confidence. They are clearly a close knit happy team. I recently was referred to the hospital for treatment, supplemented by services from the surgery. The advice I was given varied tremendously and was not joined up. For instance I had to notify my new prescription needs to the GP as the referral letter did not arrive from the hospital; the GP told the pharmacy what was needed and yet one of the key drugs I needed was not on the list received by the pharmacy. When I came for a repeat prescription, instead of saying they would resolve it as I had given them 4 days notice, they said they didn;t know if they could sort it in time for me to collect the drugs when needed. And something similar happened in the first few days of the new treatment when I ran out of supplies from the hospital and the pharmacy could not replace them as the brand name had been removed by the hospital. On this occasion a passing nurse found a solution and helped me to get the right information but I was left in tears at the counter. I find everyone is very kind and helpful, especially as I know what I need and am more able to deal with things, but it wasn;t great when I was first ill. Only been registered a few months. Fantastic staff and very caring Dr's and nursing staff. Good communication all round.Was previously registered with a similar practice. Feel blessed.Keep up the good work!! Easy access by telephone etc. One very grateful patient. | ||||||
