Cannot ask a question over the phone keep getting referred to ask my gp….whenever I want a repeat prescription either some of my prescriptions are missing or I have to have yet another review…I personally think that they don’t have a clue what to do |

My mother was 92 and got a named GP when we rang the surgery to speak to her named GP we got a paramedic in steed which got her antibiotics the next day we rang again and got the same paramedic so we rang 999 and 2 days later she past a way with SEPSIS when you ring to speak to a GP this is what you want.
I have now changed surgery as I had a same experience I have bean with the practice 30+years when it was in the village and watch it detireate you only have to look at the turn over of staff in the last few years there as to be some thing wrong in the running of the practice when the staff don't stay long I have took the decision to leave the practice to get a better support with my health as I don't think the practice is not safe especially if things need to found early. I contacted the surgery to day as I had bean ill for a week and lost 14lds in weight waited for a Dr to ring back but in stead it was one of the tree age team who told me to drink Lucozade and Coca Cola this is not what you tell a diabetic on insulin he went and ask a doctor for medication he said he would not give me any thing with out a stool test, as I am 70yrs old and a carer for my 92yr old mother and had not been to see her for 5 days so I was expecting more help in my situation the surgery failed me which in turn failed my mother if you are ILL do not rely
