I telephoned the surgery early one morning recently and although I was held in a queue, the recording told me exactly what number I was which was helpful. When I got through I briefly explained my reason for calling and was advised that a doctor would call me back. Which he did. He was very helpful. I know it is an extremely busy surgery but I have always been treated with respect. | ||||||

After getting treatment with something the practice had absolutely no understanding of a Doctor has twice stopped getting me treatment because he doesn’t approve, lucky me to have the patriarchy telling me that I don’t deserve help because I am in a minority group. | ||||||

Got a letter from hospital 3 months ago to go to audiology for check up on ears as have some hearing loss and tinnitus, says go to practice nurse to get ears checked for excess wax 2 weeks prior to appointment. Get appointment at Hemsby coastal practice today, nurse says ears full of wax! Tells me they no longer syringe ears as it is a 20 minute procedure and they do not get paid for it..... suggests I go private!!!!! Alternative is to refer me to James Paget however could take up to 2 months if I am lucky!! Had to then phone Audiology dept, cancel appointment which I have been waiting 3 months for and wait until I get ears syringed, them make another audiology appointment. Seriously not a happy person this morning as in my previous surgery in Buckingham I was always offered this service and have had it done at this surgery previously so I am dumbfounded as to what is happening in this day and age and what I will have to pay for privately next. | ||||||
