Having moved to Shipdham from Surrey in May 2017 I really can't praise the team here enough! The telephone is always promptly answered. Appointments are available in line with expectations; it was pointed out to me that even if there aren't any appointments available from the reception team for several days, there are usually some still available within that time via the online booking system. This seems a little odd to me; if the online appointments don't get booked do they get made available for on the day/walk-ins? Seems to be slightly disadvantageous to the older generation in the village who may not have internal or PC access.
Everyone I have met at the surgery has been courteous, listened to my concerns, referred me to an appropriate service when required and the facilities (blood tests, ECG, on site pharmacy) are very welcome.
In a time when the NHS is creaking under the strain, the Shipdham Surgery are doing a great job of showing how fantastic patient care can be delivered. | ||||||
