The last few times I have called, which has taken me about an hour to get through, is to say the new rota is not out yet and you will have to call back either at the end of the week or beginning of next week. When I have managed to call at the beginning of the next week you get told all the appointments have gone now, you should of called earlier, the new rota will be out in about 2 weeks. When you work 9 til 5.30 Monday to Friday it is very difficult to get an appointment after work. When the surgery was open til 7 on a Thursday this was much better for myself and my husband who has to take a days holiday now if and when he has an appointment as he is not usually home from work til 6.30. Please be like Park Surgery and have early morning appointments and late evening appointments. Also my parents are elderly and my dad always calls me to make their appointments as he is hard of hearing and the reception staff are rude because he finds it difficult to hear what they are saying. |

Started calling at 8.30 this morning, after calling 47 times I was finally put through to an extremely grumpy/rude mannered receptionist. I explained I needed an appointment and was told there was none left, fair enough the phone lines had been busy and apparently 2 doctors were off sick. I then explained I normally book online but there system was offline and had been for around a week. To which the reply was well I don't work Mondays I don't know anything about this but our emails were down last week, in the nicest way possible I explained that it really should be sorted because that's how a lot of us rely on booking appointments and ordering prescriptions, to which she couldn't care less and said well I can't do anything about that, surely you could let the practice manager know or at least apologise for the inconvenience? No instead I get a rude reply, no appointment and I guess I'll have to try again tomorrow. |

Since you have merged with Central surgery its hard to get through on the telephone, and when you do its hard to get an appointment. And before I never had a problem booking an appointment online but now when I access online there is nothing on there, been told the drs have not give them the rota. Why?? Why is it becoming so difficult to book an appointment online?Thank you |
