Unfortunately the new automated system appears to be just as bad as the old one. I rang at 8am as directed to make a GP tel call request, stupidly expecting I’d get one today as I’m in a lot of pain. But no, despite the auto voice stating ‘a number of routine GP tel calls are released each day’ the earliest I got was one week away! So while appointments are ‘released’ that day, it doesn’t mean you’ll actually get one that day! I’m not sure how they believed this would improve things for patients, but then perhaps that is no longer their aim. I’ve been with this surgery for over 30 years and have watched it go steadily downhill over last couple of years (due to lack of central gov funding). I now have no alternative but to seek a new practice, which I’m sure couldn’t be worse! | ||||||
