Ive been waiting for a first appointment since the beginning of the year, and my appointment has finally been booked in for a full year after symptoms started. Presumably this will be a chat, require some tests, and then there will be even more of a wait for a procedure. I have pain that affects my daily life, and when I have tried to call to see if there are any cancellations, the phone just rings and rings then goes dead. The email address for this service, published on Lewisham Hospitals website, bounces back. It might be a great service once you get seen, but so far getting seen is a ridiculously long process and its impossible to get hold of anyone to help. |

The staff (whom I am not able to name here, hs & f.k) made me feel very comfortable. Both very warm and asked me what they could do to help me relax during the procedure. They also had a relaxing picture of a garden in the ceiling above the treatment chair, a very nice touch. Thank you |

I attended A & E after a fall and received excellent treatment from a doctor and nurse. I didnt have too long to wait considering the problems in the NHS at the moment. Every care was taken to treat my injuries and relieve the pain. X-rays were taken before and after treatment to make sure it had been successful. Everything went very smoothly from entering the hospital to leaving armed with antibiotics. I would like to thank all those concerned. |
