I've witnessed general unprofessional behaviour toward inpatients similar to that which the most recent reviewer relates, from the HCAs, all of whom are foreign, and not only rude and aggressive but lazy and incompetent - a HCA, playing pool, when asked by a patient to fetch him a safety razor out of a locked cupboard, told the poor man to wait until he'd finished his game. The best thing that may be done with this hospital is to close it, relocate the few good staff to Queen Elizabeth's in Birmingham, and lay off the overpaid management and administrators. |

I am writing about the treatment and the stress I have had to put up with since I was discharged from home treatment team. It as taken me 3 days to get my medication during which time I have been told so many different things about where it is when all I wanted was the truth so I could take it. I was even told to call 111 or go to waldoc or walk in centre or asked to collect from Dorothy Pattinson at night about 9pm. It has all been too much for me to cope with all the people involved need to communicate with each other and tell me the truth so I'm not left chasing up medication or going round in circles and I shouldn't have to keep phoning team and going through so much stress that is avoidable. It needs to be sorted out properly now. Original Comment Report... Reply from Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust Tue, 13 Aug 2019 11:50:15 +0100 Thank you for submitting feedback.
