Oct 5 2022 My father had been a resident of Little Heaton care home for 3 years.From the moment he was accepted and arrived he settled down. His dementia had become worse and we could no longer take care of him at his home.The staff have been excellent. They treated him with respect and kindness. They looked after him and helped him enjoy his final years. I can only praise and thank them for this. I felt safe knowing dad was safe. They kept me informed if he was ill or needed items such as clothing etc.Over the three years of his stay the home has been refurbished. It is clean and tidy, well staffed. Meals served are of high quality and personal care for those who need help with eating is excellent.I can only say that if one of your loved ones needs permanent or respite care just ring the home and you will be invited to visit.
