The staff are ok and pharmacist always racing about but ready to help. But the layout is a weird circle design and no obvious queue for scripts so you dont know where to go and stand. I was annoyed I had to queue once to hand script in, then again to buy something from the med counter. Then I didnt hear my name be called so had to q again to pick up my script. Cant they have like a ticket number like at post office or something and do it all at 1 counter? Even if they just had a proper queuing system it would help. I felt so awkward staring at the script staff who asked me to wait why they did up another script. I get that other people were first, but why do they handle your meds out in this weird circular desk where any old person can see what is going into the bag? The little opaque windows are just a barrier to customer service and people over 5 foot 5 can see over them easy. Pretty sure the people after me saw all my meds and personal details as they were hanging over the barrier even tho the signs say not to. I give the pharmacist 5 stars but the weird old shop layout gets 2. Boots by station has a better front with tills for script handin and purchases, where you can do it all in one, and your private meds are hidden well at the back behind the scenes like a proper pharmacy. |
