First I must say: by mistake i just posted my review of this Bury St Edmunds branch of Croasdales Chemist on the Croasdales Mountpharm page here by mistake: OOPS...my internet skills aren’t great...so, if this review sounds like a repeat, this is why!
I’ve used this Cornhill branch for many years. The range on offer is fantastic: this really is an Emporium! The staff in all departments are always welcoming, helpful and attentive in just the right way.
I am relatively elderly now and managing several rare, early onset, chronic, incurable, multi-system comorbidities for which i am prescribed a long list of repeat medications, some of which are relatively unusual. Whenever i need advice about meds, the pharmacist at this branch is always prompt, professional, interested, supportive, efficient and proactive. What’s more, lines of communication between all the pharmacy staff are excellent. The atmosphere here is lovely: i can tell it’s a brilliant place to work. All this means a great deal to me! Even when there have been manufacturing or supply issues with my meds, this pharmacist has helped me.
I am devoted to Croasdales and Sons, 1 The Traverse, Cornhill, Bury St Edmunds |

My husband and I (no, not the Quenn and Duke of Edinburgh!) have been using Croasdales in the town and at Mount Farm for so many years we cannot actually remember, but needless to say our children are now married and have children of their own who use this pharmacy as indeed we did when they were children
We have, without exception, had first class service. There has never been an occasion when we had any cause to complain. My husband and I have had to use this pharmacy on numerous occasions over the last year and asked advice from them regarding medication. We are not elderly, but are realistically in the very busy real world The staff attitude has always been friendly and polite in the extreme - a rare thing to come across nowadays.
In fact, I would recommend this pharmacy to anyone wishing to get a personal and caring service.
If any Croasdale staff read this, I would like to say thank you to them - they should be congratulated on superb service in a very demanding workplace.
Obviously I do not know who posted a poor return about customer service, but I was so surprised. |

I recently hurt my right knee very badly due to a fall. I did visit the Doctor initially but as the wound wasn`t healing very well I also visited the pharmacist to ask for further advice.
So I visited the pharmacy in Bury St Edmunds on Friday 11th May and spoke to the pharmacist who not only looked at the wound in the consultation area but also advised me on a suitable dressing which she applied as I was worried about an infection because is was badly grazed. I made further visits to the pharmacist on 14th and 21st May when it was removed. As it was a special dressing she offered to change it frequently for me until it healed completely.
I am very grateful for her help and advise with my injury. I felt that the help and care that she provided was outstanding and wished to put this in writing.
Kind regards |
