I have only positive things to say about this care home. My Mam was in there until very recently and we visited on many occasions sometimes everyday and I cant praise the staff enough. They are genuinely interested in any feedback you give them and if there is a problem it isn't brushed under the carpet like other places I have been to. My mam was very fussy and she wouldn't have stayed so long if she didn't feel things were done properly. thanks again for everything

Having had to put my mam into this nursing home before Christmas for the six weeks care after being in hospital was the worst thing that has happened to our family. This was the only bed at the time so it had to happen due to her bring able to go back home. The senior staff didn't listen to anything, did not want to be bothered with sorting things out making my mam feel that she was a nucence. Sink in the shower room on the top floor did not work it a sign on saying out of order, I questioned this and was informed that they had sinks in their rooms were they could wash their hands. Not good enough. The smell was awful the cleaning was poor. I would not recommend this care home to anyone.

My family have had 2 relatives that have been in this care home. We could not recommend it highly enough really. The Manager had endless ( so it would seem anyway) time to spend with family members and the anxieties of our dad and granddad who stayed there - one for well over 18 moths were put to rest the first day they started living there. Staff in general were polite, caring, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The home is run very very well and both my relatives spent their last years there - and were treat with dignity and respect right to the very end. Only wish more homes were run like this as we know personally they are not.

Totally dependant on temp staff to cover shifts at night and weekends. Lack of managerial oversight and overly dependant on bank staff. Rarely answer the phone after 4 pm and all need customer service training. Low grade staff obviously treated poorly despite fact they are doing all the work. Cqc visits should be outside Monday to Friday 9-5 to get the true picture
