My Grandfather spent the last few months of his life here and I can't recommend them highly enough. He was very happy here, and made more progress in his mobility in his first 2 days here than he had in the previous 2 months in another care home. The rooms are a little on the small side but that doesn't really matter cause the staff encourage residents to stay mobile and move around the home, the rooms and the common areas are clean, well maintained and well decorated. The staff are excellent, there's plenty of them and they really take an interest in the residents well-being and do all they can to help them, my grandfather really was made to feel welcome and it showed in a dramatic improvement in his physical and mental health when he came here. The manager is very approachable and very responsive to requests and concerns. Overall this is an excellent care home, two of my relatives have stayed here in recent years and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in area.
