Linkfield Court (Bournemouth) Limited

This Residential Care Home is providing outstanding care for a friend. Over the last eight months I’ve been visiting him, there has never been a time when there has been cause for concern in the way he is being looked after on a 24 hour basis. Most important is the kind and loving atmosphere created by the Management, extending all the way through a staff of dedicated carers who truly DO care. Nothing is too much trouble for this team and it’s a pleasure to see them bring cheer to what can elsewhere be a gloomy atmosphere in some care homes I’ve visited. On occasions when age/dementia related emergencies happen, I have been impressed by the calm and professional treatment given by experienced staff, without fuss and bother. Linkfield Court is a home I would trust on every level. Every effort has been made by the family owners to create a light, colourful and airy atmosphere in a large and gracious Victorian home. This is a welcoming and efficiently run home where kindness comes first - not least, kindness to visitors who always receive a smiling welcome. In brief, I am glad we found Linkfield Court who provide exactly the care needed. Thank you to all.

We do find all staff to be pleasant, patient and very caring. Mother has severe memory loss and can be difficult at times especially as she does not know where she is and also gets frightened. The staff are on hand to reassure her. She is immobile and entirely dependent on them for her care and needs. Furnishings are homely and the most is made of an old building which is different from new purpose built ones. All in all we are very satisfied with the standard of care provided.

My mother has been a resident of care home for last 2 years when her Dementia became really difficult for herself and her family. Of the two choices offered we chose Linkfield and have been pleased that Mother feels happy content there, even as her memory declines more each passing day. The staff are all of a caring nature even though of a very young age and always welcome myself and other family members visiting.
