The Lawns is a purpose-built home, located in a quiet residential area, close to local amenities. The home is easily accessible from nearby Chelmsford.

The care we offer

The Lawns provides nursing care and care for young physically disabled people. It also offers convalescence, palliative, Parkinsons disease care and respite. All our homes offer the quality of care you&d expect from Bupa. We employ dedicated, well trained staff to provide 24-hour care and support in a professional and respectful way.

Food

Meals are an important part of the day at The Lawns and we offer a wide range of tasty dishes on our daily menu, made using fresh ingredients. All our menus are nutritionally balanced and our chef manager regularly speaks with our residents to ensure that he caters for all tastes and diets. Our dining room overlooks the large landscaped gardens. Alternatively, residents have the option of eating in the privacy of their own room if they prefer.

Activities

Our activity co-ordinator ensures there is always something going on that is enjoyable and stimulating to do. We offer activities to suit all interests, from exercise classes and games to arts and crafts, and we always encourage existing hobbies and personal interests. Musical entertainers frequently perform and a mobile library visits often, as does a hairdresser for a spot of pampering.

Activities don&t just take place in the home – we enjoy regular days out , particularly in summer when we take residents to the park, visiting museums and stately homes and enjoying concerts.
