Firstlings

Firstlings is a residential home, located in the lovely, picturesque town of Maldon in Essex, and has been established since 1986. It was originally a vicarage, and is set in gardens, including a centrally positioned courtyard garden and patio area. At Firstlings, we are told it feels like a home away from home. The Home has been beautifully furnished and our onsite handyman ensures the decor is regularly updated to keep the Home looking fresh.

We provide 24-hour quality care for 32 elderly ladies or gentleman in single rooms who are aged 65 or above who may have suffered the disabilities of stroke / arthritis or any illness that has affected their mobility or ability to look after themselves and their homes any longer without assistance.We are able to also provide care for those suffering from Alzheimer&s or Dementia. However, the home does not provide nursing care directly; district nurses do serve the home on a daily basis.

The dining experience is truly exceptional with the residents given a restaurant like experience. Meals are always freshly prepared and the home offers a great variety for residents.

Firstlings is beautifully presented throughout and offers residents a clean environment in which to stay. Carers pride themselves on maintaining high standards at Firstlings and always push themselves to do even better.
