Lilybank Hamlet Care Home

Lilybank is the only care home we visited that we felt truly welcomed we felt instantly at home. We had a kind welcome from the activities manager and were given a welcome brochure for dad to have a look through explaining times for meals and such like, friendly lady who put dad at ease. The carers we met were polite very friendly and seemed to have a very good relationship with the people living there. A very well managed team. The building inside is looking tired in places, I saw work men coming and going and it was explained that the redecorating is taking place slowly but surely as not to disrupt the residents. I am very impressed with lilybank and the staff. Hats off to them all a true gem in the Derbyshire dales

Great staff!! Wonderful home

The staff and management at Lilly bank are kind caring and efficient. It has a lovely family feel to the place. Yes it is looking tired in places but it is a large building which is constantly being updated at the residents pace, I prefer that my mother is happy and well cared for over fresh paint on the walls. Trusting the team there with my beloved mother was a potentially stressful experience but was made easy painless and really rather wonderful by the staff on duty. Mum is thriving at lillybank , she is well fed, busy, clean, well presented, cared for and most importantly safe and happy. I am very pleased with lillybank and their care for my mother. Thanks to manager Kim, Natalie, Katie, Hannah and the rest of the team.
