Feb 12 2018 I was anxious to secure a place at this home for my 94 year old Mother when it became essential for her to receive residential care. I knew from previous experience that this home could be trusted to provide a caring environment. The Carers provide an excellent standard of care on a consistent basis and the medical and support staff are extremely competent and helpful. I admire the way in which Carers are always encouraging and friendly even when met with residents who are far from well and nothing like their normal selves would have been earlier in life. Given the difficulties and constraints of the financial situation regarding care this home rises above the problems and manages to give the residents the care we, their relatives, would wish them to receive.

It far exceeds anything I expected, the wonderful care from all the staff have made her so comfortable, it is like home form home. I myself find the carers so helpful and cheerful, I find it hard to believe people like this still exist. The food is excellent and varied. If I ever need help myself I would be so grateful to be placed at The Coombs. All I can say now is I am so proud of all the ladies.
