Ashley House is a specialist home for 36 older people living with the experience of dementia.The home has a warm and unique environment filled with many different and pertinent sensory experiences that add to the welcoming nature of the home. The home is well staffed by skilled carers with the aid of visiting health professionals.
All rooms are en-suite and the service is organised to support personal freedoms wherever possible, encouraging residents to maintain their own independence in a healthy and secure environment.
Ashley House offers its residents a different choice of meals each day and is flexible to dining and socialising preferences, which contributes to the benefits of having individual care plans.

Apr 10 2019 Mum was a resident here for the last 21 months of her life. Once settled, she thrived in the care of the manager and her wonderful caring staff. The care team are well trained and especially in caring for people living with dementia. Care need changes are responded to promptly. Communication is good, relatives are welcomed and encouraged to visit at any time. The food is plentiful and if appetite is poor alternatives are offered, snacks are available. Mum enjoyed the activities , residents less able were helped to join in if they wished. I would not hesitate to recommend Ashley House.
