Oct 9 2017 My Mum has dementia and we had taken care of her at our home for a few years. When we were having difficulty we realised we would have to move her to residential care, so she could be kept safe and cared for around the clock. This was very difficult for us. We contacted Aden View, the Manager met with us for a look round, the manager was very supportive of us, we were very impressed with them, and also the home. It had a friendly peaceful calm, so were happy for Mum to be moved in initially for respite. Mum settled in very well and wasn't upset, or anxious. The care team were supportive of her needs and very kind, to us all. I visit most days and have seen Mum fit in with the community and make friends as best she can. I look forward to visiting and seeing her. The other residents appear happy and mostly content.There are activities organised and when there aren't, the residents enjoy singing and dancing with the carers, whenever they like. Almost 3 months on, Mum is well looked after and we are confident of her safety and welfare.
