Queensway can accomodate up to seven people aged 18-65 who have mild to moderate learnding disabilities and whose behaviour can been seen as challenging by others.&
People living at Queensway are supported by a staff team made up of nurses and support assistants who provide 24 hour care. Each person living at Queensway is assigned a named nurse and key worker who co-ordinate their care and help people achieve their goals.
Individual care is monitored through person centred planning which identifies a persons needs, choices and independence.& All aspects of care, leisure and everyday living is discussed with people living in the home. Different methods of communication systems are promoted and reflect individual needs.All staff at Queensway strive to provide support in all aspects of peoples lives encouraging choice,independence and new opportunities.
