The state of the art care home opened in October 2011 and caters for residents who require a high level of care or specialist dementia care.
The home has 60 spacious rooms, all with en-suite facilities. Cherry Garth is split into four separate living areas that each have a kitchenette, living room and dining room. The areas have their own specialist GP service and highly qualified staff team.
The home has an array of extra facilities to make life there as comfortable as can be. These include a hairdresser, a bar and shop area, a large communal area, a treatment room and extensive landscaped gardens.
Each resident has a personal key worker who helps the individual work on a support plan tailored to their specific needs. There are also activities co-ordinators who host a vast and varying range of activities and events.
Cherry Garth has a lift to all floors and indoor and outdoor wheelchair access. There are balconies on the first floor and secured landscaped gardens and a separate courtyard garden and seating areas.
The home is pet friendly and registered with The Cinnamon Trust.
