Jun 20 2016 My mum is resident at Thornton Hall and is very happy. The staff are caring, helpful and attentive. The home has a good reputation in the area. Every time I have asked to speak to staff about mum nothing is too much trouble. They make time. The food has improved (not that there was much wrong with it anyway). The new activities person is great. Tries to engage everybody. I make these comments as a regular visitor along with other family members and also mum's comments to us. The family does not agree entirely with the CQC rating as other parties involved were giving out incorrect information. All in all we as a family are happy with Thornton Hall.
