The Croft Nursing Home (Barrow)

The Croft Nursing Home (Barrow) provides personal and nursing care for up to& 46 people who have a physical or learning disability. The home is a large period property, set in its own grounds, which has been adapted for its present use. Accommodation is provided on the ground and first floor of the building and there is a passenger lift to assist people to access the accommodation on the first floor of the home. The home has a large& range of equipment to assist the people who live there.

The majority of our rooms have en-suite facilities and are all tastefully decorated. Residents are encouraged to individualise their rooms and choose their own soft furnishings. All bedrooms which require them are fitted with “Arjo” ceiling overhead tracking and hoist equipment which the staff are appropriately trained to use.

Residents are given a choice of menu at all meal times and individual preferences can be catered for. Our kitchen is staffed by fully trained catering personnel and is inspected on a regular basis by environmental health, & the Food Standards Agency receiving a 5 star rating.
